The four scientists and the teenager sat on the floor in the late Derby's apartment. They discussed what had happened that night, along with a plan of action. They knew exactly how to get home, and were waiting for Lindsay and Peter to dry off completely before they went back. They didn't want their wet teammates to be frozen stiff when they got back home, where it was still the middle of winter.
"So what do we do now?" Peter asked when he and Lindsay were ready to go home. They were sitting beside each other with a blanket draped over their backs. Neither of them minded being there; in fact, they were quite happy.
"I guess we go home," Matt replied. They all got up and stepped over to the wall, and placed their hands on the surface. They were overcome by a feeling of warmth before they were transported home. |
